Description

A simple and comforting chicken casserole dish that is easy to prepare.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • Feel free to use leftover chicken.
  • You can substitute the cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken if preferred.
  • This dish can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
