- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil.
- Add pecans to the saucepan and stir to coat.
- Spread pecans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
