Description

A simple recipe for making chicken and dumplings using Bisquick.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and milk.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into a baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, water, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the Bisquick mixture over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through and golden.

Notes

  • Serve hot for best flavor.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • This dish can be made with leftover turkey as well.
