Description
Duchess Potatoes are a fancy way to serve mashed potatoes. These piped potato mounds are crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.

- 2 pounds of potatoes
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks.
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Drain and mash potatoes until smooth.
- Add butter, heavy cream, egg yolks, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to mashed potatoes.
- Mix until well combined.
- Pipe the potato mixture onto a baking sheet into mounds.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

- For extra flavor, add herbs or cheese to the mixture.
- Use a piping bag for best results.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
