Description
Crispy and sweet Korean fried chicken bites coated in a sticky sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- Oil for frying
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces in the flour mixture, then in water.
- Heat oil in a pan for frying.
- Fry chicken until golden brown and crispy.
- In another pan, combine soy sauce, honey, gochujang, rice vinegar, garlic, and sesame oil.
- Cook the sauce over medium heat until it thickens.
- Coat fried chicken pieces in the sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of gochujang.
- Serve with rice or as an appetizer.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
