Description

A delicious and fresh crunchy sushi bowl packed with flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 cup edamame, shelled
  • 1/4 cup seaweed salad
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
  2. Combine rice and water in a pot; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  5. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl until dissolved.
  6. Fluff rice with a fork and mix in vinegar mixture.
  7. Assemble the bowl by placing rice at the bottom.
  8. Add avocado, cucumber, carrot, edamame, and seaweed salad on top.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the bowl.
  10. Serve with soy sauce on the side.
