A delicious and fresh crunchy sushi bowl packed with flavors.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1/2 cup edamame, shelled
- 1/4 cup seaweed salad
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Instructions
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
- Combine rice and water in a pot; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl until dissolved.
- Fluff rice with a fork and mix in vinegar mixture.
- Assemble the bowl by placing rice at the bottom.
- Add avocado, cucumber, carrot, edamame, and seaweed salad on top.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the bowl.
- Serve with soy sauce on the side.
