Description

A unique and impressive pie crust recipe that will elevate your desserts and wow your guests.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup ice water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the chilled butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in ice water, a tablespoon at a time, until the mixture forms a ball.
  4. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and shape it into your desired pie form.
  6. Pre-bake the crust at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes before adding your filling.

Notes

  • For a sweeter crust, add more sugar to the dough.
