  • Author: Yale Zapata
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 24 mini bites 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Cranberry Brie Bites are a delightful appetizer featuring creamy brie cheese, sweet cranberry sauce, and crunchy pecans, all enveloped in flaky puff pastry.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • 1 (8-ounce) wheel brie cheese cut into small cubes
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup finely chopped pecans
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut the puff pastry into 24 squares (about 3 inches each). Press each square into a non-stick mini muffin tin to form small cups.
  3. Place a cube of Brie into each puff pastry cup. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over each piece of Brie and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  4. Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Top each bite with a small sprig of rosemary or thyme before serving.

Notes

  • Use brie that’s completely enclosed in a rind.
  • You can store any leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days. Enjoy them cold or reheat them.
  • Freezing not recommended.
