Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1 cup of onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of sage
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add celery and onion, cook until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked vegetables, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour chicken broth over the mixture, stir to combine.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use stale bread for better texture.
- Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
