- 1 cup sugar

- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, self-rising flour, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Carefully spoon the peach mixture over the batter. Do not stir.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream if desired.
