Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, parsley, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined, then shape the mixture into a loaf.
  4. Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and spread half of the marinara sauce on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
  6. Remove from the oven and spread the remaining marinara sauce on top.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
