- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, parsley, eggs, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined, then shape the mixture into a loaf.
- Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and spread half of the marinara sauce on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and spread the remaining marinara sauce on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can mix in some Italian herbs.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
