Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, mixing just until combined.
- Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
