Cinnamon Toast Crunch Rice Krispie Treats combine classic flavors with a twist.
Ingredients

- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 16 oz mini marshmallows, plus 2 cups mini marshmallows (divided)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, plus extra for sprinkling
- 4 cups crispy rice cereal
- 4 cups cinnamon sugar cereal
Instructions
- Grease a 9×9-inch pan for thick treats or a 9×13-inch pan for regular thickness. Line with parchment if desired.
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Continue stirring until it foams, smells nutty, and turns golden brown (about 5 minutes).
- Add the 16 oz marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
- Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and sea salt.
- Add the crispy rice cereal and cinnamon cereal. Gently stir until coated. Fold in the remaining 2 cups of marshmallows.
- Transfer mixture to the prepared pan. Lightly press into the pan with a greased spatula or hands. Do not press too firmly.
- Sprinkle with a little flaky sea salt if desired. Let sit for 1 hour before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Do not compact the mixture too much to keep the treats soft.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
