Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites on a Serving Plate

Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites Recipe – Sweet & Easy

  • Author: yellie

Description

Golden-brown cinnamon roll French toast bites served warm with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar — a perfect sweet breakfast treat.

Ingredients

1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing (8 rolls)
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Maple syrup, for serving
Powdered sugar, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prep the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the can of cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside. Cut each cinnamon roll into 4 bite-sized pieces.
Mix the Egg Batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Dip the Bites: Gently dip the cinnamon roll pieces into the egg mixture, making sure each piece is fully coated. Let any excess drip off.
Cook the Bites: Heat the butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the coated cinnamon roll pieces in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
Golden Perfection: Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Repeat with remaining pieces, adding more butter as needed.
Warm the Icing: While the bites are cooking, warm the reserved icing in the microwave for about 10 seconds or until pourable.
Serve: Transfer the cooked French toast bites to a plate. Drizzle with the warmed icing, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired, and serve with maple syrup for dipping.
