Description
A batch of homemade chocolate chip cookie dough truffles, dipped in rich chocolate and arranged on a decorative dessert plate. Perfect no-bake treat for any occasion.
Ingredients
For the cookie dough:
115 g unsalted butter, softened
100 g brown sugar
50 g granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
120 g all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
100 g mini chocolate chips
For the coating:
200 g milk chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Scoop out small portions of the cookie dough and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped milk chocolate and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
Dip each chilled cookie dough ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out and let any excess chocolate drip off. Return the coated truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate the truffles for about 30 minutes until the chocolate is set. Enjoy your delicious cookie dough truffles!
