Ingredients
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir well and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
Add the dry ingredients gradually, alternating with the sour cream (or Greek yogurt), mixing until combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
