Description

A warm, golden-brown Chocolate Chip Banana Loaf fresh out of the oven, topped with melted chocolate chips, and surrounded by ripe bananas and a sprinkling of flour on a rustic wooden table.


Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed 🍌
2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
1 tsp baking soda 🧁
1/4 tsp salt 🧂
1/2 cup butter, softened 🧈
3/4 cup granulated sugar 🍬
2 large eggs 🥚
1 tsp vanilla extract 🍦
1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt 🥄
1 cup chocolate chips 🍫

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper. 🏠
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir well and set aside. 🍞
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. 🥄
Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract. 🥰
Add the dry ingredients gradually, alternating with the sour cream (or Greek yogurt), mixing until combined. 🍶
Fold in the chocolate chips. 🍪
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. 🧑‍🍳
Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. ⏲️
