Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs ground chicken
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if needed)
- 1 oz ranch seasoning mix (ensure it’s free from non-halal additives)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup finely diced onion
- 1/2 cup freshly shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 strips of turkey bacon (instead of pork bacon)
- 4 burger buns (whole wheat or gluten-free, if preferred)
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Ranch dressing (use one with halal-friendly ingredients)
Instructions
- Prepare the Patties: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, ranch seasoning, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion, and cheddar cheese. Mix gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Form the Patties: Shape the mixture into 6 evenly sized patties. Press a small indentation in the center of each to ensure even cooking.
- Cook the Patties: Preheat a grill or stove-top pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface with oil and cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Cook the Turkey Bacon: In a separate pan, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Set aside.
- Assemble the Burgers: Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in the pan. Layer each bun with lettuce, a cheddar ranch chicken patty, a slice of turkey bacon, and tomato. Drizzle with ranch dressing and cover with the top bun.
- Serve: Enjoy your cheddar ranch chicken burger with your favorite side dishes, such as crispy fries or a fresh salad.
