Description

Delicious caramel pecan pretzel bars with a sweet and salty flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pretzels, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix crushed pretzels and melted butter in a bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking pan.
  4. In a saucepan, melt brown sugar and butter until bubbly.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans and pour over pretzel crust.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and return to oven until melted.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.

  • Can substitute walnuts for pecans.
