- 2 cans of crescent rolls
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup fruit topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll one can of crescent rolls and lay it in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent rolls.
- Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Brush the melted butter over the top layer of crescent rolls.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar and add fruit topping if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture.
- Serve warm or chilled, depending on your preference.
