Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in the brown sugar and bourbon until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
- Arrange the sliced peaches on top of the sugar mixture.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour the batter over the peaches in the cake pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
