Description

Freshly cooked basic cauliflower fritters served on a white plate with dipping sauce, crispy on the outside and soft inside.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium cauliflower, grated
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Grate the cauliflower and place it in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the flour, Parmesan cheese, eggs, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  3. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil and flatten them slightly.
  6. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with almond flour or a gluten-free flour blend.
