Description

Bang Bang Salmon Bites are crispy salmon chunks coated in a flavorful mayo mixture and drizzled with a spicy bang bang sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Salmon Filet
  • 2 tbsp Mayo
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Paste
  • Garlic Salt and Pepper (as desired)
  • 3/4 cup Mayo (for bang bang sauce)
  • 1/2 cup Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 clove Garlic (grated or minced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Pat the salmon dry and remove the salmon skin.
  3. Cut the salmon into 1-1.5 inch chunks and place in a large mixing bowl.
  4. In a small bowl, mix mayo, seasonings, and garlic paste.
  5. Season the salmon bites with garlic salt and black pepper.
  6. Add the mayo mixture on top and coat the salmon bites.
  7. Place the seasoned salmon on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  8. Roast for 10 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Make the bang bang sauce by whisking together the sauce ingredients.
  10. Drizzle the bang bang sauce on top of the cooked salmon.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook your salmon! Roast for 7 minutes for a rarer option.
  • Add cajun seasoning for extra flavor.
  • Adjust spice level with more sriracha or red pepper flakes.
  • Use a meat thermometer for doneness.
  • Use Greek yogurt or light mayo for a lighter option.
