  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool completely.
  9. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
