Description

A tangy and flavorful balsamic vinaigrette perfect for salads and more.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil and/or thyme or ½ teaspoon dried basil and/or thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until fully combined and smooth.
  2. OR add all ingredients to a mason jar, seal tightly, and shake well until emulsified.
  3. You can also whisk everything together in a bowl.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  6. If the olive oil solidifies in the fridge, let the dressing sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes, then shake or whisk before serving.

  • Use high-quality extra virgin olive oil for the best flavor.
  • Maple syrup adds mild sweetness; adjust to taste.
