Oven Baked Feta Cheese Bites with Honey Drizzle
Ingredients
8 oz (225 g) feta cheese block
1 cup panko bread crumbs
2 large eggs, beaten
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Prep the Feta:
Cut the feta cheese block into 1-inch cubes. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
Set up the Breading Station:
Place flour in one bowl.
Beat the eggs in a second bowl.
Combine panko, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
Bread the Feta Cubes:
Dip each feta cube into the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the seasoned panko.
Bake the Feta:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil.
Place the breaded feta cubes on the sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Drizzle with Honey:
Once out of the oven, drizzle the baked feta bites generously with honey.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm. Enjoy the sweet and savory perfection!
